Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the refund procedures and conditions for VideoMasker paid services provided by techniflows (hereinafter "Company").
1. Purpose and Scope
This policy applies to monthly subscription services (Pro plan) provided by the Company through the web. It is established in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
2. Definitions
- "Subscription" refers to a paid service with recurring billing on a monthly basis.
- "Payment Date" refers to the date when the subscription fee is charged.
- "Service Commencement" refers to the point when the Member can use the paid service features.
3. Full Refund
A full refund means receiving 100% cancellation through the original payment method used at checkout.
Full Refund Conditions
- Request within 14 days of payment
- No premium feature usage (e.g., downloading de-identified videos)
Full refunds are only available when all conditions above are met. Even if requested within 14 days, any usage history will result in a partial refund.
Upon refund completion, you will immediately be converted from Pro to Free user.
4. Partial Refund
A partial refund means receiving a refund for the remaining unused period.
Upon refund completion, you will immediately be converted from Pro to Free user.
Refunds for individual features are not available.
Partial Refund Amount (Monthly Subscription)
The refund amount is determined by the period of service used during the billing cycle. Service is considered used up to the refund request date.
For refund requests submitted outside business hours (weekdays, 10:00-19:00 KST), the next business day will be used as the refund request date for calculation.
Refund = [Total Paid - (Daily Rate × Days Used)] × 0.9
A 10% cancellation fee applies, and amounts are rounded down to the nearest won.
Example: If you start a monthly subscription on January 1st and request a refund on January 15th, Refund = [Actual Payment - (Daily Rate × 15)] × 0.9
5. Withdrawal Restrictions
According to Article 17(2) of the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal may be restricted after digital content service has commenced. However, the Company gives priority to the refund policies in Articles 3 and 4.
6. Refunds for Service Defects
If the service cannot be used due to defects attributable to the Company, Members may request a refund within 3 months from the service commencement date AND within 30 days of learning (or being able to learn) of the defect. Both conditions must be met.
7. Refund Processing Time
Refunds are processed within 3 business days from when the withdrawal takes effect (or when the refund reason is confirmed). The actual refund timing may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
8. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
- Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period.
- You will be notified with reasonable advance notice, including the scheduled payment date, amount, and how to cancel.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through My Page.
- Upon cancellation, you can continue using the service until the end of the current billing period.
9. Refunds for Company Fault
In cases of service suspension or significant service degradation due to Company fault, Members may receive a pro-rated refund for the affected period.

11. Other
- This policy is effective from the date of public announcement.
- Matters not specified in this policy shall be governed by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and other relevant laws.
- The Company may amend this policy within the scope of relevant laws and will notify Members of any changes in advance.
